Calm Roots will Present Sounds with Rohan Ayinde (live)

Calm Roots is a subtle practice by Alex Rita centring introspection and rest.

Starting in 2019 as a two-hour NTS Radio exploration of the meditative corners of her collection, Calm Roots has now expanded into intimate in-person performances across three continents. For this evening of Present Sounds, we are invited to look inward and rest in the words of her special guest and dear friend; interdisciplinary artist, poet, Rohan Ayinde.

"Present Sounds" is your weekly deep listening escape, hosted in a private loft in Greenpoint. It boasts a vintage 4-point Klipschorn sound system and cozy seating arrangements, ensuring an intimate and immersive musical experience. The exact location will be shared with ticket holders in the confirmation email. Every Thursday from 7-11pm.
